How to rent to a camping package

1. Book your package online
Select among our different camping packages online on our website (camprentique.ca). Use the calendar feauture to reserve the package. Enter the dates of your camping trip and the total rental price will be calculated automatically based on the number nights and the nightly rate. If you leave on Saturday morning and return on Sunday afternoon, select Saturday-Sunday in the calendar.
2. Receive helpful camping guides
Within 24 hours of placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation and helpful camping guides and checklists. We can also answer any questions you have about the gear and send you instructions on how to set everything uo if it's your first time camping. 
3. Security deposit is paid one week prior to delivery
One weel prior to delivery you will receive the payment link for the security deposit. Security deposit is required for all bookings. The security deposit amount is promptly REFUNDED IN FULL if the rental items are returned on time, clean, and undamaged.
4. We deliver
We will deliver all the equipment the day before your reservation begins. We want you to have plenty of time to pack your car and prepare for your trip stress-free. We can deliver to your house, hotel, Airbnb - you name it. Our deliveries usually happen between 2-8 pm. We will provide a more detailed delivery timeframe the day before delivery. 
5. You enjoy
You take our camping gear on your trip and enjoy the bautiful Canadian outdoors. 
6. We pick up
We will pick up the equipment the morning after you are back from you trip. Please make sure equipment is clean and dry before placing it in the storage bins it came in.We usually do pick ups between 8 am - 2 pm.
7. We return the deposit
The security deposit amount is promptly REFUNDED IN FULL if the rental items are returned on time, clean, and undamaged. We process all of our security deposit refunds within 2 business days after we pick up the equipment after inspecting all the equipment. 

If a product is damaged, the repair cost will be deducted from the deposit for return. 
If a product requires extensive cleaning (soaking, scrubbing, stain removals, dirt removal), we will deduct a cleaning fee. 
If a product is returned late (unavailable for pick-up on the agreed-upon date), the late fee will be deducted from your security deposit at a daily rental rate.
Example of an order timeline
Sam and Kate want to go camping with their friends for Canada day. Their trip will take two nights. They will leave on Saturday morning and return on Monday night. They reserve a Package for Two from Saturday to Monday. 
After they place an order, we reach out to them to arrange for delivery and pick up. 
The week before their camping trip, they pay a security deposit.
We deliver their camping equipment to their home on Friday between 3-8 pm. We pick it up from their home on Tuesday at 8 am. 
We inspect their equipment on Wednesday and return the deposit by end of day Wednesday.

What's your delivery fee?
We offer free delivery and pick up on orders above $250. If the order is below $250, the delivery&pick up fee is $35.
Can I pick up my order?
We operate from Peterborough, ON. At the moment, we don't have a retail store. If you can meet in Peterborough, ON, feel free to contact us to arrange for the pick up and drop off. 
Can you deliver to a campsite?
It depends on the location of the campsite and access to the campsite. Please contact us to find out if we can deliver to your campsite. 
When do you deliver my package?
Your package will be delivered the day before your camping trip. The time of your delivery will depend on your location. Most of our deliveries happen between 2-8 pm. We will text you the day before delivery to let you know the expected 2-hour timeframe of your delivery. 
When do you pick up my package?
Your package will be picked up the morning after your trip. Let's say your reservation ends on Sunday, we'll pick up your package on Monday morning. Most of our pick ups happen between 8 am - 1 pm. We will text you the day before with the expected 2-hour windor for the pickup. 
Do I have to be home to recieve the package?
In most cases, you don't have to be home. If you live in a condo, we can leave your package with a concierge. 
If you live in a house in a safe neighborhood, we can leave your gear outside in any location of you choice (porch, backyard, shed, garage). 
Can I customize a package?
Even though our packages are carefully curated to guarantee an enjoyable camping trip, we understand that some people might have custom requirements. You can send us an email (polina@camprentique.ca) with the list of items you want to include in your package. We'll create and email you the custom quote. 
Do you have packages for more than 4 people?
Yes, we can accommodate up to 150 people. Please email us for a custom quote (polina@camprentique.ca).
We have experience building packages for weddings, children camps, university gatherings, corporate events. 
What size of sleeping bags do you provide?
Our sleeping bags come in 3 sizes:
1. Regular (5-6ft)
2. Long (over 6ft)
3. Kids (under 5ft)
How warm are your sleeping bags?
We provide the most suitable sleeping bags for the weather. Our bags range from +10C to -7C. 
How do you clean your equipment?
All products are cleaned and sanitized after each use with a minimum of 5 days between rentals. 

We use the combination of high-pressure steam cleaner, disinfecting sprays, laundry detergents and sanitizing dishwasher tablets.

What is your return policy?
You can cancel your order at no additional cost up to 2 weeks prior to your original reservation date. 
If you cancel between 2 weeks and 3 days before your reservation begins, you will be charged a 10% late cancellation fee. 

If you cancel less than 3 days before your reservation begins, you will be charged a 50% late cancellation fee.

Can I reschedule my reservation?
Yes, you can reschedule up to 3 days prior to delivery at no charge (packages for 5+ people excluded)

A charge will be applied for any changes that are requested less than 3 days before delivery.
